From New Plymouth NZ to Plymouth UK

From New Plymouth NZ to Plymouth UK, we are delighted to welcome Derriford Hospital to the Howard Wright Family.

Derriford Hospital, part of University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, required a low height trolley for their ED for use in Minors as well as within the main department.

Nigel Booth, Lead Emergency Nurse Practitioner in ED (Minors) found the trolley to be “a fantastic fit” for what the department were looking for. He commented that the knee break will certainly improve positioning for patients and prevent them from migrating down the trolley into an uncomfortable position. The new additions to the department will make for a safer and more comfortable experience in ED overall.

Lead ED Radiographer, Niall Mckeon-Carter, also commented “The x-ray tray underneath is very wide and unrestricted, allowing versatility when performing radiographs on the trolley. From a manual handling perspective, the motorised nature of the trolley is much better for staff”.

We would like to thank staff at Derriford Hospital for their support.
