Not Just A&E...

Something a little different in February as we revisited the Assessment & Birthing Centre at Birmingham Women's Hospital, part of Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, with three additional M9 Transfer trolleys.

The M9 Transfer patient trolley has proven to be a valuable asset to midwifery units, and the team at the BWH Assessment & Birthing Centre chose to increase their fleet to ensure that there is one trolley available in every bay.

Birth centres and maternity hospitals have found value in the unrivalled low height capability of the M9 Transfer, which can lower to a height of 35cm. This low height enables a safer emergency transfer from birthing couches or birthing pools, reducing unnecessary risk and stress for mother and baby. The trolley also provides a range of positioning options, helping to improve patient comfort during assessment.
