In April we headed to the midlands to welcome Leicester Royal Infirmary, part of University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, to the Howard Wright family with their first delivery of M9 Trauma trolleys.

Leicester Royal Infirmary houses Leicestershire’s only A&E department. The M9 Transfer patient trolley has proven to be a valuable asset to midwifery units, and the team at the BWH Assessment & Birthing Centre chose to increase their fleet to ensure that there is one trolley available in every bay.

Wye Valley NHS Trust is one of the smallest rural District General Hospitals in England, and was also England’s first integrated provider of acute, community and adult social care services. The team in ED at The County Hospital were in search of a trolley that would contribute to improving patient safety, and the M9 Trauma was just what they were looking for.

The M9 Trauma lowers to a class-leading height, making it easier for patients to put their feet...
